The Solution To restore full drainage and performance to this Maytag unit:
- Diagnostic: Performed a voltage drop test at the pump terminal. Confirmed the control board was only sending partial power, which is a common failure point in high-mileage Maytag models.
- Board Replacement: Installed a new original Maytag OEM Control Board. We only use factory-certified boards to ensure the internal "Sud" sensors and motor phases are correctly managed.
- Pump Optimization: Even though the board was the primary issue, we cleared the internal "coin trap" and pump housing of any minor debris to ensure maximum efficiency for the new system.
- Final Cycle Test: Ran a high-speed spin and drain test. Verified the new board provides consistent voltage, allowing the pump to clear all water within the factory-mandated timeframe.
The Solution To stabilize the machine and protect the outer tub:
- Diagnostic: Performed a "bounce test" on the tub. Confirmed that the springs were stretched and no longer absorbing the energy of the high-speed spin.
- Part Replacement: Installed a full set (4) of brand-new original Maytag OEM suspension rods. We always replace the entire set to ensure even weight distribution and prevent premature failure of a single rod.
- Leveling: Checked the machine’s leveling legs and reinforced the floor contact points to minimize vibration.
- Calibration: Ran a heavy-load test cycle to verify the tub remains centered and the machine operates quietly at maximum RPM.

Heating element went out in our dryer. Uniqpro technician Dimitri was wonderful. He also found that white thing in the middle was very worn. He gave the entire dryer a checkup! He replaced the white thing at cost of the part. Very clean, affordable, professional. Fast response with accurate quote.
