LG WASHER REPAIR: DOOR GASKET (BOOT SEAL) REPLACEMENT
The Solution
- Gasket Removal: We carefully disassembled the front panel and door assembly to remove the old, damaged, and moldy seal.

The Solution

- Sensor Replacement: The malfunctioning sensor was replaced with a new genuine LG OEM Hall Sensor. We also inspected the wiring harness for any signs of friction or damage.
- Direct Drive Calibration: After reassembling the motor, we ran a manual test mode to ensure the control board was correctly reading the motor’s RPM and that the spin cycle was smooth and silent.
The drum now spins perfectly at all speeds. The LE error is resolved, and the Direct Drive motor is back to its high-efficiency operation.
